CocoaConf
The conference for iPhone, iPad and Mac developers
I attended the following talks:
- UI Automation - Testing From The Top Down with Jonathan Penn
- Objective-C Runtime: Fun Under the Covers with Craig Castelaz
- Getting started debugging with Xcode with Dave Koziol
- MacRuby with Jonathan Penn
- Visualize Your Data With Core Animation with Brian Coyner
- Understanding OpenGL ES 2.0 shaders with Brad Larson
- Core Audio Cranks It Up with Chris Adamson
- Blocks with Jeff Biggus
- Storyboards with Daniel Steinberg
- Drawing with Core Graphics with Bill Dudney
CocoaConf was March 16th and 17th with a tutorial by Bill Dudney on the 15th at the Elk Grove Holiday Inn. I have to say that I think this was one of the best conferences I have been to. I highly recommend going to a CocoaConf if you happen to have a chance. The sessions are very educational and yet fun
Speak in sensible terms!
Miles per gallon is stupid, many countries they use more sensical term, liters per 100 kilometers; of course, we would say gallons per 100 miles here. Everyone uses MPG so how can it be stupid? […] Finally, I write blog posts at a rate of about 1.65 sandwiches per post. Yummy!
